The role of discussion director is to create questions that promote discussion within a group. There are three types of questions that we can ask in the ‘Discussion Director’ role. These questions include:
• Literal questions – the answer is in the text (you can point to it)

the answer. You need to be able to say what information helped you know what
the answer is. People do not always agree on the answer.
